Nepal Plane Crash: Anju was about to become a captain from co-pilot
Nepal Plane Crash: 68 of the 72 passengers on board died in the plane crash in Nepal on Sunday. Five Indians are also among the dead. A co-pilot Anju Khatiwada also lost her life in the crashed Yeti Airlines aircraft ATR-72. Anju was about to become a captain of the co-pilot. The aircraft was piloted by Senior Captain Kamal KC, while Anju was the co-pilot in the aircraft.
Captain Kamal KC had given training to many pilots
According to the report, Captain Kamal KC had about 35 years of experience in flying the aircraft. Capt KC had earlier trained many pilots. Pilots familiar with them are known as successful captains.
But destiny had approved something else. Captain Kamal KC lost his life in this accident. At the same time, Anju’s dream of co-pilot could not be fulfilled.
Anju’s husband also died in the plane crash
Anju’s husband Deepak Pokharel had also died sixteen years ago in the same Yeti Airlines plane crash. Deepak was also posted as a co-pilot. The accident happened on 21 June 2006. The aircraft (9N-AEQ) had taken off from Nepalgunj to Surkhet but met with an accident. Four crew members and six passengers were killed in this.
