WhatsApp has signed a contract with metro rail service providers in Indian cities to bring transit solutions on the WhatsApp Business Platform. With the WhatsApp chatbot, you can easily buy metro tickets or recharge your metro card. In addition, you will also get the metro’s timetable, route map, fare, and other information on the WhatsApp chatbot.
Currently, the convenience of WhatsApp chatbot is only available in four cities. These cities include Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, and Hyderabad metro. Users in these four cities can book tickets or recharge cards through the WhatsApp chatbot.

To recharge your metro card using WhatsApp, you will first need to activate the WhatsApp chatbot. Once the WhatsApp chatbot is activated, you will receive a URL to book your e-ticket.

- In Mumbai, e-tickets must be verified at Automated Fare Collection (AFC) gates.
