Dagara beach in Balasore district is one of the beautiful beaches of Odisha, India. The best part is it is less crowded unlike the beaches of Puri or Konark. Dagara is a coastal village in the Baliapal block of the Balasore district of Odisha. Dagara, Chaumukha, and Aladiha are the three coastal villages of the Baliapal block that broadly refer to the seashore and the beach. The beach is also special with the presence of other beaches like Chandipur and Talasari of the Balasore district with red crabs, silvery sand, evergreen casuarina forest.
The beach is not explored & remains as one of the virgin beaches. Fishing with small Boats by the local fisher flock is very interesting. It’s one of the best beaches & calmness prevails with natural beauty embedded in it. The beach is ideal for a sea bath & surfing.

Festival Of Dagara Beach
The Dagara Beach Festival attracts thousands of visitors from the state of Odisha and neighboring West Bengal. The festival is a platform for performances by artists and connoisseurs of classical dance.
The tourism department has prepared an overall plan detailing the infrastructure to support the visitors, such as the construction of hotels, better road connectivity, proper lighting, and other facilities on the beaches. MP (Balasore) Ravindra Kumar Jena said that the government has sanctioned Rs 8.46 crore for the tourism circuit between Chandipur, Dagra, and Talasari.
