I started the journey from Kharagpur West Bengal with my friend Sushil in my Honda Activa 125. Its distance is 220 km from Kharagpur. So let me tell you about it in this article.
Bhimkund Keonjhar Side
Located on the border of Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts in Odisha, Bhimkund Waterfall is an ancient wonder, waiting to be explored from both sides (Keonjhar & Mayurbhanj), and it is easily accessible. Gracing the sacred Baitarani River, it is one of the most breathtaking waterfalls in Keonjhar Odisha.
What makes this destination even more attractive is its accessibility, with no entry fee required for visitors. The surrounding area is currently under development to meet the needs of tourists. About 27 km from Dhenkikote on NH 20, serves as a gateway, offering dining options and more. With a picturesque view of the banks of river Baitarani, Bhimkund not only stands as a delightful picnic spot but also holds an important historical background, making it an excellent choice for photographers wishing to capture the essence of this remarkable site.
