Bichitrapur Mangrove Sanctuary: I previously visited Bichitrapur with my friend, Sushil on 07/March/2021, and have shared captivating videos of the Bichitrapur Mangrove Sanctuary on my blog and YouTube channel.
Bichitrapur Mangrove Sanctuary has been a place of fascination for me, however, my recent trip with my family was full of disappointment. The management of the Bichitrapur remains largely incomplete, They should know that December is the peak tourist season. Despite the huge demand for boating, no extra boats were available, and long queues of tourists added to the frustration. Sadly, we were not able to enjoy the boating experience, resulting in a waste of both time and fuel.
The most disappointing aspect was the inadequate communication from the staff, leaving us unsure about the possibility of boating. Additionally, an unexpected fee of Rs 10 was charged for toilet facilities, adding up to an unwanted inconvenience. To further complicate matters, the local boys in the parking area were forceful in asking for donations for Ganga Puja, further adding to the overall experience.
So if you want to go here in such peak season then go with some caution and early in the morning. Because if you go late then you will not be able to enjoy boating.
