I have been to Sitakund Waterfall thrice. Picturesque waterfall & sacred Hindu spot tucked away in rainforest national park & tiger territory. Sitakund Waterfall in NE Similipal is the most photographed waterfall in Baripada.

  • Distance From IIT Kharagpur Is Approx. 108Km Via SH-5 Keshiary-Nayagram-Baripada
  • Google Map: Sitakund Waterfall

One of the most recognizable and arguably the most photographed waterfall in the Similipal National Park, is a stunning 30-foot tall Punchbowl waterfall that spills over a cliff top into an enchanting turquoise deep pool.

The edge of the cliff is so deep and high that you can walk behind the curtain of water. The waterfall is an easy one-mile walk (1.5Km) from the narrow parking area on Pithabata Road.
