Hyundai EXTER in India – Punch to Face a Big Challenge as EXTER is Launched as CNG Variant: Hyundai Motor India (HMI) has started accepting bookings for its upcoming SUV at a token amount of INR 11,000. The EXTER is set to compete against the Tata Punch in the micro-SUV segment and will be available in both petrol and factory-fitted CNG options.

EXTER Booking Opens: 

Good news for those waiting for the Hyundai EXTER SUV! Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has not only revealed the first look and design of its first micro-SUV, the EXTER but has also started accepting bookings for it. Customers can book the Hyundai EXTER at dealerships across the country or online, with a booking amount of INR 11,000.

3 Engine Options

Hyundai will offer this SUV in three powertrain options. It will come with a 1.2-liter Kappa petrol engine (E20 Fuel Ready) with a 5-speed manual transmission and a Smart Auto AMT option, as well as a 1.2-liter Bi-Fuel Kappa petrol engine with a 5-speed manual transmission and factory-fitted CNG kit.

In 4 trim

This SUV will be presented in 4 trims for customers: EX, S, SX, SX(O), and SX(O). Customers will have the option to choose from 6 monotone and 3 dual-tone exterior color options for the EXTER SUV, including dual-tone color options such as Cosmic Blue and Ranger Khaki.

Talking about the looks and features of the EXTER, this SUV boasts several segment-first features, including projector headlamps, H-signature LED DRLs, and diamond-cut alloy wheels. The EXTER also features a floating roof design, parametric design C-pillar garnish, and sporty bridge-type roof rails.
