Bhetia Waterfalls – Secret Waterfall Nearby Kharagpur – Unexplored Offbeat Destination

I was just looking at someplace on the map around Kurumbera Fort. Suddenly my attention went towards Bhetia Falls, Google Maps was recommending this place.

Then I thought that the barrage of Raghunath temple located in Banpatna is showing on the map but I was wrong. Then I checked on the map, what this place and after setting the direction, my friend Pratap Rana and I set out to this unexplored destination.

When I reached there I saw that it is really a hidden place which is just less than 15KM away from Kharagpur which is in Bhetia village. We cannot call it a complete waterfall because it is the water of a Keleghai river flowing through some big stones.

The environment here is very clean and calm compared to the pollution of the city. But I would like to make a request if you ever go here for a walk, then please do not mess up don’t pollute the environment of the village.

Now after exploring Bhetia Waterfalls we talked to the locals there, and they told us about Keleghai Barrage and Jal Tirtha. Which is approx. 10km away from Bhetia Waterfalls. You can go to both places. Keleghai Barrage is also a good place to spend some time in solitude with your loved ones.

I hope you liked this blog of mine. Anyway, Valentine’s Day is coming right now, so for the people of Kharagpur, there will be no better place for a short one-day trip.

HAPPY TRAVELLING
