Khandarani Lake Belpahari Tour Jhargram Bengal Tourism: Belpahari is a village located in the Jhargram District in the state of West Bengal. It is surrounded nearby by many villages namely Banspahari, Ergoda, Kanko, and a few more. The Ghagra Waterfalls, Tarafeni River Dam, dense forest, and the city around are the major attractions of this place.

Khandarani is situated at a distance of 49km from Jhargram and 11km from Belpahari. The multi-faceted nature comes with its full splendor when one is able to visit the water body of Khandarani, nestled in fascinating forests and mountainous terrain.

Sighs and streams of water mixed with sunshine found their way to vast parts of the agricultural world through the tunnels of the Dam, giving viewers a spectacular view of the splendor.

The lake, which is shrouded in natural swamps, is only 15 minutes away from Belpahari, one of the most spectacular scenery.

The multi-colored migratory birds such as Northern Pintail, Common Coot, Lesser Whistling Ducks, Cotton Pygmy Goose, Little Grebe, Pheasant Tailed Jacana, Bronze Wing Jacana, Purple Heron, Shikra, Indian Cuckoo, Indian Roller Bird, Green Bee Eater, etc. defying man-made boundaries swarm to Khandarani and spend their winter in utter abandon and rant the air with their incessant flap and flutter.

Visitors can see many types of beautiful birds in the green forest. This scene makes the place more beautiful. Although a boating facility is not available one can spend an hour walking and explore around. The whole scenery of the place is very attractive.

You can visit any time but I will suggest In the month of October To February.
