We had breakfast in Bangriposi and then set out for 279 km, far away in the Keonjhar district of Odisha. The name of the place is Khandadhar Waterfall which there is the second-highest waterfall in Odisha between the mountain and the forest.

It is a 244 metres high waterfall in the middle of a dense forest. It has a “smoke-like” appearance created by the splashing of water as it tumbles down the cliff face. Khandadhar is 54 km away from Keonjhar city of Odisha.

Khandadhar Falls is located in Khandadhar Hill, one of the hills partially in the Keonjhar district. On the opposite side of the hill, there is another waterfall with the same name. Khandadhar Falls, Sundagarh is located in the Banei subdivision of the Sundagarh district. The smoky scenario of the area creates a mysterious ambiance in the surroundings.

The natural environment of this area is also the ideal place for rich flora and fauna, which are abundantly available here. Khandadhar Waterfall is the best tourist place in Keonjhar, Odisha.

Ask some locals in the village for nearby homestays. Small shops will be found for food and drink. Where you can take some snacks etc., which will give you energy in trekking, definitely take drinking water with you.
