Gangu brought them to his village Sahedi. He was a trusted servant but he betrayed the Guru Sahib’s family and handed over the family to Wazir Khan Faujdar of Sirhind. After that, they were tortured to convert to Islam.
From there, while giving information, he got the Sahibzads and Mata Gujri ji arrested. He was first sent to Morinda and the next day to Suba Sirhind. They were first sent to Morinda and then the next day to Suba Sirhind.
Wajid Khan gave many types of greed to the Sahibzade and also threatened them but they remained firm on their religion.
Diwan Sucha Nand filled the ears of Wajid Khan a lot. He said that snake babies are dangerous, so they should be killed as soon as possible.
When they refused to do so, Mata Gujri ji and her grandsons Sahibzade Baba Zorawar Singh, and Baba Fateh Singh were imprisoned in Wazir Khan’s Thanda Burj (Cold Tower) and later bricked alive into a wall.
When Mata Gujri ji came to know about this, she too fainted at this Thanda Burj (Cold Tower) and fell down.
The historical wall where the younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji were bricked up has been preserved in this Gurudwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. The historic walled sanctuary is known as Gurdwara Bhora Sahib.
