Tattapani Means Hot Water
Tattapani city situated on the banks of river Sutlej in the capital Shimla is becoming famous for its religious importance and adventure sports across the country.
Situated at a distance of about 51 km from Shimla, this city is on the banks of river Sutlej. Hot water also comes out here, due to which it is developing as a religious place.
Every year thousands of tourists and people reach this place spread over an area of about one kilometer. Taking a bath here on a full moon day is considered very sacred.
It is said that the water here becomes as pure as the Ganges on this day. Whoever bathes in it, all his sins are washed away.
Along with skin diseases, joint pains are also cured by taking a dip in this hot water. Many people reach here in the morning to bathe in hot and cold water and sunbathe on the banks of the river.
