It’s 1916. A man named Charlie Spark used to run a circus. An elephant named Mary was part of this circus.
During this, 38-year-old Walter Aldridge was riding Mary. He had no special experience in controlling elephants.
During the parade, Mary saw a piece of watermelon lying, which she stopped to eat. The impatient Eldridge pricked him with a stick more than once.
Elephants are known for their anger. Mary did not like Eldridge’s actions. He lifted her by the trunk, threw her down, and crushed her head. Eldridge was dead on the spot.
