I went to Patratu Valley with my wife and my friend Debjyoti. There were very beautiful views. Our plan was a short trip of two days. So, we decided that we will also go to Ghatshila’s Burudi Dam and Chandil Dam. After visiting both the dams, we reached Patratu Valley.

The months of October and March are considered to be the best time to visit the valley, during which the temperature remains moderate.
How To Reach Patratu
By Air: The nearby airport of Patratu is located in Ranchi at a distance of about 50 km. After reaching Ranchi, you can either hire a direct cab or catch a direct bus to reach Patratu.
By Rail: The major railway station near Patratu is located in Ranchi, which is well connected to all other cities and towns. From the station, you can hire a direct bus to Patratu. It will take you around 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach Valley Town from the station.
By Road: There is a good arrangement of roads to reach Patratu, you can easily go through this route also.
