Stones were pelted on Vande Bharat Express on its way to Surat in Gujarat late on Monday night. It is being told that AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi was also aboard.
Although Owaisi narrowly escaped in this incident, the window panes of the train were broken. This train was attacked about 20-25 km before Surat.
While the railway administration has talked about the investigation of this attack, now politics has intensified on this matter. AIMIM spokesperson Waris Pathan said that the stone pelting was deliberate to prevent Owaisi from going ahead in the elections.

Waris Pathan told that the window of the coach in which AIMIM chief Owaisi was traveling was broken due to stone pelting. He also gave information about Owaisi’s visit by tweeting.
