The spy shots also partially revealed the heavily guarded interior giving a glance inside the cabin of the new Hyundai Tucson.
Now, the car is heavily wrapped, but certain instantly noticeable elements such as the new front grille called the ‘parametric jewel’ are evident and so are the daytime running lights integrated with the design as the headlamps can be seen mounted vertically on the front bumper. In profile, the new multi-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels, and chunky squared wheel arches are new elements on the 2022 Tucson. Even the split LED tail lamps are partially visible that extend all the way up to the rear fender.
Spied for the first time in the cabin of the 2022 Hyundai Tucson, however, it should be noted that the interior would most likely be the same as the international model with minor changes. The new generation Hyundai Tucson gets a four-spoke steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, leather upholstery, a gear switch replacing the conventional levers, and a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto connectivity.
At the heart of the 2022 Hyundai Tucson, expect the large SUV to continue drawing power from the existing 2.0-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engines coupled with an automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive configuration. More details on the new generation Hyundai Tucson for India would unfold closer to the launch.
