IND vs SL Photos: Indian players were surprised to see Shreyas’s bowling: India won the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka by 3-0. In the third ODI played in Thiruvananthapuram, Team India won by 317 runs. This is the biggest win by a margin of runs in ODIs.

Batting first, India scored a mammoth total of 390 runs for the loss of five wickets thanks to the brilliant centuries of Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli. In response, the Sri Lankan team could only score 73 runs. Many special moments were seen in this match.

From Kohli to Rohit and all the Indian players thoroughly enjoyed the match. India’s batting in this match was worth watching. Virat Kohli showed his old form and hit sixes fiercely. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights of the match.

Electing to bat first after winning the toss, the Indian team got off to a great start. Captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill added 95 runs in 92 balls for the first wicket. Rohit misses out on his half-century. He got out after scoring 42 runs in 49 balls.

Shubman Gill, playing an excellent inning, scored the second century of his ODI career in 89 balls. This was his first international century in India. Earlier, Shubman had scored a century against Zimbabwe at his home.

The young opener played an inning of 116 off 97 balls. In his innings, Shubman hit 14 fours and two sixes.

Shubman teamed up with Kohli to put India in a strong position. Both played a partnership of 131 runs in 110 balls for the second wicket.

Kohli also hit a six during the match which reminded Dhoni of Dhoni. In the 44th over of Kasun Rajita, Kohli played an amazing shot on the fourth ball. Seeing the manner in which he swung the bat, people remembered Dhoni’s helicopter shot. The ball fell straight outside the boundary line.
