Happy Jagannath Rath Yatra 2021: Jagannath Rath Yatra of the world-famous Puri is starting today. This year, people from outside are prohibited from participating in this Rath Yatra during the Korana period. Curfew has been imposed in the entire area a day before.
However, in the traditional way, today Lord Jagannath along with his brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra will go on a Rath Yatra. Once a year Lord Jagannath along with his brother and sister goes on a city tour. The three of them travel from the Jagannath Puri temple to their aunt’s house at Gundicha and then return after seven days.
