However, if you want to make the most of this natural beauty, the best time to visit is between October and May when the vegetation is at its peak. During this time, the average temperature ranges from 24 to 29 degrees Celsius, accompanied by rainfall.

Trekking is one of the most popular activities here. People prefer visiting the peak point, which stands at an elevation of 5,276 feet above ground level. It takes a minimum of 3 hours to reach the summit by trekking. The place is renowned for peak trekking, camping, bird-watching, and photography. The entry fee is 275 rupees per person. By Rail: You have the option to reach the nearest train station, Mysore Railway Station, and from there, easily take a taxi ride to the hills. The taxi will drop you at the foothills of Brahmagiri.

By Air: The closest airport to Brahmagiri Hills is Mysore Airport. The distance between the airport and the hills is approximately 120 kilometers. Once you reach the airport, you can directly hire a cab to Brahmagiri Hills.

By Road: The areas near Brahmagiri Hills are well-connected by well-constructed roads. You can reach here by road, which is a preferred mode of transportation for many. As you reach the foothills, you will have to trek through a plethora of tourist spots and dense forests to reach the hills.
